Erin DiCamillo

Certified Pilates Teacher

Erin DiCamillo (she / her) discovered the power of Pilates 10+ years ago when she was seeking relief from a decade spent hunched over a computer in business development. Having spent the first half of her life walking on her hands more than her feet and feeling most comfortable on a dance floor, she took to the movements of Pilates naturally and decided to pursue teaching professionally. She received her 600-hour comprehensive Pilates training through Equinox in Chicago in 2017 and has since worked with a diverse set of clientele, ranging from the road warrior to the post-partum mother to the ultramarathon runner.

Personally, Erin has benefited from her own Pilates practice throughout her pregnancy, post-partum recovery and rehabilitation from major bilateral hip surgeries and has true empathy for clients who seek support in their non-linear healing journeys. When not in the Pilates studio, Erin is caring for her husband and 4-year old son, forging a strong local community with friends, exploring the outdoors, moving her body in any which way, all with a cup of coffee and delicious novel or book of poetry in her hand. She invites you to join her class for a full-body movement experience and a meditation on poetry in motion.

Lauren Moreno
Certified Pilates Teacher Lauren Moreno (she/her/hers) obtained her Pilates certification through Ellie Herman Pilates in 2010. Originally from New Mexico, Lauren lived and taught Pilates in Brooklyn for 12 years, while pursuing her dance career. While establishing a partnership with Beyond Basics Physical Therapy in Manhattan, Lauren provided a bridge between the world of PT and everyday exercise. She helped ease clients into a safe and appropriate work out regime post injury. Many of these clients were post-natal and Lauren found a niche in not only helping these women rebuild their abdominal muscles but also allowing these mothers to rediscover the innate strength of their own bodies. With measured precision and patient guidance, Lauren’s training focuses on functional movement so that her clients may go out into the world and face all its activities with strength and confidence. Whether the goal is to strengthen and tone, to alleviate pain and heal an injury, or to prepare for and recover after childbirth, she aims to empower her clients with awareness, understanding, and faith in their own body’s abilities. When not teaching Pilates, Lauren is busy living the mom life: running around after her toddler daughter and son, cuddling with her dog, watching British murder mysteries with her husband, or sneaking in a ballet class!

“Contrology develops the body uniformly, corrects wrong posture, restores physical vitality, invigorates the mind, and elevates the spirit.”
